The following will introduce the method of color spraying PVC guardrail:
1. Color profile extrusion method, also known as the whole body method. The color masterbatch is added to the PVC profile formulation, and the colored profiles are directly extruded through the extruder. The advantage is that the finished product is extruded on the original extruder, and the cost is low; the disadvantage is that the weather resistance of the profile is poor, and it is difficult to meet the requirements of indoor and outdoor decoration effects.
2. Compound co-extrusion method. A profile formed by co-extrusion of a PVC guardrail and an additional layer of colored material. Whether the color material is PVC, polymethyl methacrylate or acrylic acid-styrene-acrylate copolymer (ASA), two extruders are required (conical double pupa rod 60 or 58 and single screw 30) to fulfill. A composite mold must be used to produce the profiles. The production process is to combine the profile material and the colored material from two different runners into extrusion before leaving the mold. The characteristics of this method are: in the production process, additional equipment such as a hot and cold mixer or a dryer is required, the material recovery is difficult, the production process is complicated, and the cost of the composite membrane is high and the investment is large.
3. Lamination method. Using the method of heating and mechanical lamination, a layer of color film and adhesive are bonded to the surface of the PVC guardrail by pressing. The characteristics are: the production process needs to be carried out on the assembly line, and the film and adhesive with better quality need to be imported products, and the cost is high; the color film is damaged during construction and cannot be repaired.
